Important — fire hose reel use
- Fire hose reels are emergency fire-suppression equipment — they should not be used to wash vehicles, hose down driveways or for any general utility purpose.
- Do not use a fire hose reel on electrical or live-circuit fires — the water stream conducts current and creates a serious shock hazard.
