Who we are
A team built on the floor.
In 1993, Premier Fire Services was established by Dirk Karel Kröhn Basson. In the same founding year, the company achieved the prestigious SABS Diamond Mark — 1475. Dirk brought 25 years of valuable experience in the servicing of fire equipment to the founding of the business.
Lucas Barnard, our Safety and Project Manager, joined Premier in 1998 as a qualified SAQCC service technician. By 2005 he had stepped into the Operational Manager role — and the same hands-on standards he was trained with still shape how we service equipment today.
Annah Jonas joined Premier in 1998 too and has been part of the team ever since. Today she runs the workshop as our Workshop Manager — the operational heart of every service job that leaves our doors.
Slate Ndabeni joined in 2002 with more than 17 years of expertise servicing fire-fighting equipment, vehicle fire suppression systems and fixed suppression systems. Today he is the Majority Member of the company.
Miems Basson is a shareholder in the business, with the company having stayed close to its family-led roots through every stage of its growth.
Alda Basson Louw stepped into the General Manager role in 2016 and leads operations, client relationships and the day-to-day running of Premier Fire Services — keeping the same disciplined standards the company was founded on.

Premier Fire Services founded
Established by Dirk Karel Kröhn Basson, bringing 25 years of fire-equipment experience into a single, focused operation.

Awarded the prestigious SABS Diamond Mark in the founding year, cementing manufacturing and servicing quality benchmarks from day one.
1998
Lucas Barnard joins
